Please inquire about the occasional availability of older German shepherd puppies. These German shepherds would range in age from 5 months to approximately 18 months.
These gorgeous dogs would most likely be puppies that we have held back for ourselves. If they are being offered for sale, the reason most likely is because we kept others, still have their sire and dam and/or 1/2 siblings and need to import a dog or dogs of different bloodlines.
These German shepherds should work well for people who do not want to deal with the baby puppy stages.
These puppies were vet checked by our vet when we had him to our home to check the entire litter.
They may already have had hip x-rays. (Vet fees vary, usually not less than $200. Already paid for by us).
They may already be microchipped. ($60 fee already paid for.)
They will have had all of their shots including rabies. (Minimum $200 savings in vet visits)
They will have had several baths in our downstairs doggy bath tub.
They will have spent time in a crate both in the house and in a vehicle.
They will have been taken out off of the property several times to parking lots, to and in a Tractor Supply store, to and in our feed dealer’s store and in an office building.
The puppies that were old enough to take walks around our farm would have done that if it was before the ticks and snakes were out!
These puppies also will have spent time playing with safe adult female dogs.
They should walk nicely on a leash and they may already know some basic commands.

Requirements: (vary per puppy/dog but pretty close to the info below)
*A fenced yard of at least a 5 foot safe fence, preferably chainlink (Why? because this breed bonds strongly with their owner which at this time would be us. They could easily become confused and get lost from a new home. They will bond strongly to their new family too but it takes a little time and patience.) Please don't count the fence of neighbors on either side. Your home must be fenced.
*No children under age 10. These puppies have shown no food nor toy aggression but they do not know what very young children are and these puppies are deserving of time. We know and understand that very young children do take up time too.
*Cats are ?? as they have not been exposed to cats. (Could work depending on situation.)
*You own your own home
*An adult should be home part of the day at least for some time
*Prior German shepherd experience is preferred
* The pre-purchase questionnaire is needed as with any puppy leaving us.
